With the way the Thais have handled the vaccine roll out I cannot see them opening up without some form of ASQ until well into 2022 at the earliest.

Dab are those clips on your backpack straps able to mount your camera or do they serve another purpose? If they're for mounting how often do you use them and why not more often for handsfree filming close to eye level view of everything you see 🙂 ?

Alright Dan, love the videos! I've been planning to come to Thailand in November/December as I run an online business and want to live somewhere a bit cheaper (and have a bit of an adventure also).

I think you said in another video that who knows when this will end for Thailand as nobody is really getting vaccinated, do you think that towards the end of the year would be a good time to come even if things are pretty similar?

CDC just admitted that the PCR "test" can't even distinguish between "covid" and the flu.
I guess that explains why the flu disappeared from mid 2020 till now.

If I had to bet I would guess some level of lock down at least for August and maybe even September.

BTW what is that "Best Day Ever" song you use? Who is the artist?

My guess is until rainy season for 2 reasons. 1) the weather plays a MAJOR role in covid transmission and by that I mean airborne transmission. 2) government needs to open up for tourism or their economy will tank for sure! That is a guarantee

I think Thailand will figure out a way to add more and more areas to the "sandbox" model. If the Thais in those areas and the tourists are fully vaccinated, then that will reduce the Wuhan virus risk enough to allow tourism. After all, the world cannot shutdown indefinitely for this relatively mild pandemic. The consequences of continued lockdown will soon be worse than the Wuhan virus. Also, the vaccines are going to become better, cheaper, and easier to manufacture.

he reason we're seeing worldwide and thailand virus numbers explode is the delta variant viral load is 1200 times more than the previous strain of the virus and its making vaccinated people sick. If the virus enters the body of a vaccinated person it starts to build resistance against the vaccine so its only a matter of time before the current vaccines are rendered useless. I hope they're working on a booster for the delta variant
