BACKPACKING THAILAND TOP TIPS

These are my best tips for backpacking in Thailand. You might be staying in a Thailand hostel on a budget, or heading there for the amazing full moon party, either way, this advice should help you prepare your travelling adventure!

I cover local Thailand attractions and destinations – the hot spots – including the islands: top party locations like Koh Samui and Koh Lanta, as well as Koh Tao’s scuba diving, and walking round Maya Bay and Koh Phi Phi. Plus: don’t stay in Haad Rin!

As well as staying in Bangkok, I recommend visiting Chang Mai, Chang Rai and Pai in northern Thailand with their animal sanctuaries and bamboo rafting, to get a proper Thailand holiday experience.

This video’s not meant to be a definitive Thailand travel guide, or even an exhaustive list of Thailand sights, sounds and destinations. It’s just my advice if you want to travel to Thailand based on my own experience. (Which was part of my general backpacking adventure covering Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji – so much of South East Asia!)

If you’re backpacking or even just vacationing in Thailand, let me know, I’d love to hear from you! Send me a pic or message. You can find my Thai adventures here:

Thank you so much for creating this video! Super helpful! Planning my first solo abroad in 2019! Now that you mentioned March! I’ll probably look at the prices then! :))) agreed, music in background is a little distracting and a little loud. Rather hear what you have to talk abou!

I'm traveling to Thailand on a budget and the most helpful resource I've
found so far is this travel guidebook on Amazon "Travel Cheap: Explore
the world with your piggy bank savings". The guy shows you how to
"Travel Thailand, Cambodia & Laos for $1000". Basically I can travel
3 countries for 6 weeks with $1000. This includes Accommodation, food,
transportation, Tours & Activities, entrance fees to Grand Palace
    and so on…
