Thailand Travel Vlog

I recently traveled to Thailand and wanted to share my trip with you. I went in June 2014 and shortly after this Keeping Up With The Kardashians aired their trip to Thailand and it made me miss it so much. I can’t wait to go back again. We went to Bangkok, Chiang Mai where you can play with elephants and tigers and then to Koh Samui where they have beautiful beaches, zip lining and tons of activities.

I'm going to Thailand in December. I'm 12 and was wondering if its okay to wear basic short shorts(that DONT show your butt) in public like on the streets. This excludes temples of course. thanks so much!

Wild elephants won’t let humans ride on top of them. So in order to tame a wild elephant, it is tortured as a baby to completely break its spirit. The process is called Phajaan, or “the crush”.

It involves ripping baby elephants away from their mothers and confining them in a very small space, like a cage or hole in the ground where they’re unable to move.

The baby elephants are then beaten into submission with clubs, pierced with sharp bull-hooks, and simultaneously starved and deprived of sleep for many days.

You can watch a disturbing video of the process if you’re curious. so now that you know please next time dont ride an elephant.

You can visit an elephant sanctuary and play with elephants but DONT RIDE THEM! Riding elephants harms them, especially long term. Research the elephant places you visit to make sure they're cruelty free.
