Thai Food Surprise – Stir-fried Vegetables, Thai Style

Thai food lunch – stir-fried veggies.

My four-year-old daughter screamed from downstairs to me, “DADDY, TIME FOR LUNCH! TIME FOR LUNCH DADDYYYYY!!” So I thought it would be a good time to film a short video of whatever it was. I love the weekends because I never know what I’m going to eat for lunch. Usually Joy cooks something Thai and something delicious.

Today it was stir-fried veggies with: broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli stems, small corns, garlic, green beans, pumpkin, and chicken. I think I mentioned everything.

When Joy cooks stir-fry it doesn’t taste like oil at all. She puts a little bit of oil, some water, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. The result is excellent tasting vegetables that are cooked just right and that are not fattening, though they are called “fried”.

If you are looking to learn how to cook Thai food, have a look at some of her videos here at Youtube. Joy has been featured in interviews at major newspapers and international blogs because of her Thai food dishes!

I eat like a king here when she has the time to cook! Send her email and ask her to keep shooting videos so I can keep eating amazing Thai food! If she thought she could make enough money, she’d quit her job and work just on her Thai food blog and videos. That’d be the best. Anyway, that’s my hope for her for the future.
